Dr. Stephanie Colorado, O.D. is a therapeutic optometrist and certified optometric glaucoma specialist. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with highest honors, before completing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Colorado is passionate about helping patients see and feel their best, with a special focus on fitting multifocal contact lenses, computer eye fatigue prevention lenses, and myopia prevention lenses. She is highly trained and experienced in all ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and age-related macular degeneration. Additionally, she co-manages cataract and LASIK surgery with surgeons all around the Austin area.
Having called downtown Austin home for more than 15 years, Dr. Colorado loves exploring the city’s ever-changing food scene and walking her geriatric dogs ( GizBo Jangles and Babbet) along Lady Bird Lake.
Dr. Colorado is excited to bring her experience and passion for eye care to Lone Star Eye! Her friendly, detail-oriented approach ensures every patient feels heard, cared for, and fully informed about their eye health.
